Full Bloom was a solo exhibition at the University of Texas at Austin’s Visual Arts Center. Loosely based on the Spanish barajas playing card deck, the exhibition was rooted in my experiences at Madrid’s Royal Botanical Garden, the oldest of its kind in the country. Full Bloom featured a series of 40 risograph prints and 18 trace monotypes that I created as a Guest Artist in Print at the University of Texas at Austin, along with a limited edition risograph-printed artist book also called Full Bloom featuring drawings and texts related to the project. This exhibition was on view from January 24 to February 6, 2020.
